The story of Shiro Dry Fruits Company

The founder of Shiro Mr Mehdi , a PhD student in Economics and an investment consultant, first came to India in April 2023 to expand his travel company and to understand this beautiful country more deeply.

He planned to stay only a few months… but life had a different plan.

 

India didn’t just welcome him — it embraced him.

Its colors, its people, its warmth…

 

Yet something kept catching his attention:

the dry fruits available in the Indian market did not match the quality he had grown up with.

 

He noticed that most dates and dry fruits in India were low or average quality, especially the imported ones.

Coming from a family in Iran that owned saffron farms and date orchards, he knew exactly what true quality should taste like.

 

As an investor, a thought sparked in his mind.

 

He asked himself:

“India deserves the best. Why shouldn’t Indian families enjoy authentic, premium dry fruits straight from nature’s heart in Iran?”

So he made a promise to his self :

If I call India my second home , I must bring the best of my first home to it.

 

That was the moment Shiro Dry fruits was born with a simple mission

“To bring the purest, finest Iranian dry fruits directly from the farm to homes across India.”
